Architecture & Design

Once the  FPM strategy and roadmap are in place, translating that into discrete projects and programs  and ensuring they are  integrated into the corporation’s business intelligence environment is critical. Gathering and prioritizing the requirements based on the desired business outcomes and timing is the first step. Reconciling the data needed to satisfy those requirements with the quality and completeness of the actual data available ensures you can have a fully working solution.

LPA’s FPM consultants are certified experts in creating an architecture that you can rely on for compliance, that runs fast, and that will meet your corporate governance rules.   We bring perspectives from hundreds of implementations, and align the chosen approach with the best practices of the industry.

We know how to ensure data quality issues arising from the source systems do not corrupt your consolidated reports or budgets. We have well developed methodologies to gather requirements. . We learn what you want to measure and ensure we capture the data from the right source at the right level to allow you to measure it. We have deep modeling skills and we are experts in the right tools to deliver the solution.

We both architect new solutions, and troubleshoot and optimize existing deployments. We’ll upgrade your environment or migrate from a non-IBM environment to an IBM Cognos TM1 or Accelerator solution. And, we’ll stand behind our design and implementation. You can take this design and either ask LPA to develop and implement it, or turn to your inside staff to do the development and implementation or a combination of both.
LPA provides the following architecture and design services:

  • Project management with certified professionals
