Senior TM1 Consultant
LPA Systems has immediate openings for Senior IBM/CognosTM1 Consultants delivering high value business and technical consulting services. Technical consulting covers the Cognos FPM suite including Cognos TM1. Business consulting will include the full lifecycle of solution definition as well as project and engagement management.
Specifically:
- Perform business consulting including the elicitation and analysis of business requirements for financial planning and forecasting solutions
- Provide presales support for the sales organization including presenting demos to prospective customers and performing startup services for new customers including prototypes and pilot project programs
- Design and implement Financial Performance Management solutions
- Actively seek additional services revenue across the client organization
- Develop close relationships with executives and managers in client's IT and business departments
- Provide knowledge-transfer services to customers
Mandatory Skills/Experience
- A minimum of three years experience in Finance/Accounting
- Extensive experience with implementing Cognos TM1 including cube building and use of Turbo Integrator.
- IBM/Cognos TM1 Solution Developer certification
- Experience integrating TM1 for scenario based planning and Cognos 8 BI for Performance Dashboards
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work independently or on a team as required
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks as well as changing priorities
- Related college degree or equivalent experience
- Cognos Business Intelligence experience a plus.
- Experience with Cognos Enterprise Planning a plus
- Self-starter with ability to work on projects with minimum supervision while adding value to cross-functional teams
